Overview of role

WALKERS COMPLIANCE AND REGULATORY SERVICES LIMITED ("WCRSL") invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the role of Anti-Money Laundering Analyst ("AML Analyst").

WCRSL specialises in the provision of outsourced AML compliance services and is part of Walkers Professional Services ("WPS"), the corporate and fiduciary services arm of Walkers Global.

AML Analyst 

The AML Analyst will be part of a dynamic, fast-growing professional AML compliance services team.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Responsible for coordinating of the WCRSL client on-boarding process;
2.    Assist the WCRSL AML officers with the implementation and oversight of AML, Counter Terrorist Financing and Anti-Proliferation Financing (together "AML/CFT/APF") policies and procedures which will ensure compliance with the Cayman Islands AML regime;
3.    Assist with the data gathering process necessary in the preparation of AML Compliance Officer reports;
4.    Conducting risk based periodic testing of fund administrator due diligence procedures; 
5.    Assist with WCRSL AML audits;
6.    Assist with the WCRSL client due diligence program;
7.    Keep abreast of AML/CTF/APF industry developments; 
8.    Promote WPS internal and external best in class client service delivery; 
9.    Training and mentoring AML Analysts; and
10.    Management of WCRSL internal projects.

Education, Skills & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1.    At least 5 years experience working in the financial services industry; - 
2.    A recognised AML qualification or equivalent level of qualification; 
3.    Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; 
4.    Knowledge of the Cayman Islands AML regime with particular focus on the investment fund industry; and
5.    Experience in people management would be an asset.

REMUNERATION AND APPLICATION PROCESS

Remuneration, including a salary of up to US$50,000, discretionary performance based bonus, pension and fully covered health insurance, will be commensurate with qualifications.
