Overview of role

Based in the Dubai office, the Incorporations Manager ("IM") will manage a team of corporate services administration professionals at varying experience levels with a focus on company formations in the ADGM and DIFC, working closely with the relevant responsible attorneys in accordance with Walkers' policy and such other responsibilities as Senior Management shall from time to time determine.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

• To efficiently and accurately manage all incorporation enquiries and applications in a timely manner;

• To confidently lead face to face or Teams calls with clients and onshore counsel to walk through incorporation process;

• To ensure the team deliver quality of services to attorneys, clients and external service provider including onshore counsel and the ADGM and DIFC authorities;

• To offer on the job guidance and support to existing team members (and new joiners) in respect of incorporation and associated matters including preparation/delivery of training materials;

• To maintain a harmonious working atmosphere;

• Delegation of work and allocation/reallocation of incorporation enquiries/applications with the team based on resources and a fair/equitable split based on Team members roles and capacity;

• To ensure incorporation invoices are sent out and paid within agreed time-frames and be ultimately accountable for the collective accounts receivable position of the Team which they manage;

• To ensure internal databases and systems including ViewPoint are updated accurately;

• To drive the team to meet different regulatory deadlines and ensure all statutory rules and regulatory requirements are met;

• To keep incorporation templates, questionnaires, fee schedules, trackers and training material updated and provide support for automation initiatives;

• To be involved in the employment process and conduct appraisal with the team regularly;

• Such other tasks as assigned by Senior Vice President or Director may request from time to time.

Education, Skills & Experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is required to supervise and mange a team of Corporate Services Executives, Administrators and Assistants;

• Oversee the outstanding accounts receivable position of the Team which they manage.

 

THE CANDIDATE

• The individual must hold an undergraduate degree with at least 5 years incorporations experience gained at an ADGM/DIFC Professional Services Firm;

• Solid incorporation/corporate administration experience including registration authority portals relating to ADGM and DIFC structures (particularly ADGM SPVs, Opcos, GP/LP structures, Tech Start ups, Funds, DIFC SPV, Active Enterprise, Opcos) is essential;

• Strong knowledge of annual and regulatory requirements relating to ADGM and DIFC entities;

• ICSA qualification/legal background preferred;

• Experience in supervising an incorporations/onboarding team;

• Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential;

• Individual must be self-motivated, well-organised and strong sense of responsibility with excellent interpersonal skills;

• Reliability essential;

• Ability to drive and manage the team and meet tight deadlines;

• Windows/Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/Outlook;

• Experience of ViewPoint corporate administration software highly desirable;

• ADGM CSP certification essential.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside normal working hours/days when requested.
