Overview of role
We are currently seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join our dynamic and growing transaction management team in Dublin where we focus on serving the structured finance and aviation finance industry. In this role, you will be part of a busy, client facing, professionally qualified team. Duties and Responsibilities
You will have a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Act as transaction manager for your own portfolio of structured finance and aircraft leasing special purpose vehicles (SPVs);
- Assist with the management of the day-to-day workload of junior staff;
- Serve as director to a portfolio of SPVs, being the primary point of contact for all fiduciary and transaction management issues;
- Demonstrate complex problem-solving skills, anticipate issues, lead client board meetings and effectively manage a busy portfolio of clients and team members with competing deadlines and deliverables;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring a high quality, responsive and professional service to our clients at all times;
- Lead and manage the delivery of internal regulatory, operational and ad hoc projects and initiatives as required;
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of legal or regulatory developments and proactively seek to ensure that the team is positioned to address those challenges; and
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, while actively contributing to process improvements within the team.
Knowledge& Experience
- A minimum of six years' experience in a relevant legal, financial services or corporate administration role is essential;
- Strong academic credentials with a university degree. A legal, company secretarial or accounting professional qualification would be an advantage;
- Strong inter-personal skills and communication skills.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a proactive and solution-driven attitude;
- Ability to think on your feet, show attention to detail and be able to plan and organise work effectively;
- Strong organisational, analytical and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail; and
- A desire to work in a fast-paced client-facing environment where delivery of a professional service to both clients and other counterparties is of key importance.
