The Role
Walkers are currently seeking to recruit a HR Administrator to join its growing Dublin office. This is an exciting and varied role, which provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career with exposure to all aspects of the HR function.
Duties and Responsibilities
The HR Administrator will have a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Support the HR Director and HR Manager in providing best in class HR to employees;
- Provide effective and high quality administration support to the HR function and employees;
- Act as a first point of contract for employee queries, responding in a timely and efficient manner;
- Manage HR Mailbox ensuring all requires are responded to in a timely manner;
- Manage all employee letter requests including salary certs, forms and reference letter requests;
- Creation and maintenance of employee files, records and data both in hard copy and on HR system;
- Responsible for ensuring the HRIS system is updated and accurate at all times;
- Support the graduate recruitment process by posting roles on recruitment portal and arranging interviews;
- Manage employee pre-screening process, conducting reference checks and preparing employment contracts;
- Manage firm CPD records;
- Coordination and delivery of employee on boarding programme;
- Administer employee benefits programmes including healthcare, pension, TaxSaver & bike to work schemes;
- Manage the employee leave processes (maternity, paternity, parental, sick etc.). and ensure all requests are recorded accordingly;
- Monitor probation periods and liaise with line managers to set up reviews;
- Support the monthly payroll process and ensure deadlines are met;
- Assist with the implementation of wellness initiatives;
- Provide support for HR projects and key annual events such as performance reviews, training events and recruitment drives;
- Ad hoc projects and other administrative duties as required.
Knowledge and Attributes
- 3rd level qualification in HR or related discipline;
- CIPD or working towards qualification;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in HR administration, ideally in a corporate environment;
- Excellent IT skills;
- Ability to multi task and work within strict deadlines;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a strong commitment to teamwork;
- Ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels of the organisation, both verbally and in writing;
- Professional attitude with a high degree of integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters;
