THE ROLE

Walkers are currently seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic lawyer to join its dynamic and experienced Employment team. The ideal candidate will have domestic and international experience, advising on a broad range of employment law matters. Your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging.  You will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing clients located in Ireland as well as globally and have a diverse range of responsibilities including advising on the following:

 

  • Executive employment contracts
  • Employee Handbooks
  • Financial Services Regulations relating to Employees
  • Whistleblowing/Protected Disclosures Legislation
  • Disputes – WRC, Labour Court and High Court
  • TUPE and Outsourcing
  • Mediation
  • Compromise Agreements
  • Employment Due Diligence
  • Advise on Bullying and Harassment Investigations
  • Bonus Policies and Employee Incentives

THE PERSON

We are seeking a qualified and experience lawyer with employment law experience in a recognised practice. We are open to hearing from those current practicing in Ireland or those interested in returning or relocating to Ireland. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

 

  • strong academic credentials;
  • excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills;
  • a high level of commercial and business awareness;
  • a calm and measured approach to problem solving;
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • excellent communication skills; and
  • a proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
