Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Assistant Vice President, Client Relationship Management

 

Salary Range US$100,000 – US$120,000

 

We are seeking a client-focused Assistant Vice President.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and proactive expansion of a portfolio of top tier clients across the business. This will include leading all non-legal communications (as related to non-billable work), highly effective relationship building with these clients with a view to elevating levels of client service/ satisfaction and protection of the portfolio.

 

This is a high-impact, client‑centric role, focused on deepening and expanding relationships among Walkers' top tier global clients, with a US focus. A key element will be building relationships with and influencing clients and colleagues, with a strong focus on stakeholder management and supporting the building out of a high-performing team around the rest of Walkers' top tier clients. The AVP will be responsible for client satisfaction, service expansion and for the training and mentoring of other team members, contributing to a positive, collaborative culture in the Global Client Relationship Management Team. Other ad hoc responsibilities as Senior Management shall from time to time determine.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in professional services, business development, or client relationship management
  • Proven ability to expand and manage institutional client relationships
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members
  • Good understanding of financial services and market dynamics
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); ViewPoint experience is an advantage
