Overview of role

Are you a dynamic and seasoned client relationship professional looking, with a background in corporate/financial services looking for an exciting opportunity in a sophisticated international environment? Walkers, a leading international law firm in the Cayman Islands, is seeking a proactive and client-centric Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to nurture and expand our portfolio of key client relationships. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service and communications in the non-legal space, acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for firm-wide growth. Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Maintain the integrity and health of the CRM portfolio, ensuring meticulous compliance with government and statutory requirements, internal KYC/CDD procedures, and effective accounts receivable management.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with CRM portfolio clients by delivering proactive and exceptional client care. Serve as their primary point of contact for all non-legal inquiries and workflows.
  • Act as a key liaison between clients, Walkers Professional Services (WPS), and the Law Firm, providing comprehensive administrative and compliance support, including seamless assistance with client portal access, billing inquiries, and other non-legal matters.
  • Collaborate strategically with Walkers Relationship Partners and senior WPS colleagues to identify opportunities for expanding and cross-selling WPS services to CRM portfolio clients, leveraging your in-depth understanding of their diverse business needs across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Disseminate WPS marketing materials effectively to clients and external intermediaries as appropriate and collaborate closely with the Law Firm and WPS marketing teams on engaging seasonal client events and activities.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects with enthusiasm and provide valuable support on broader initiatives as required within WPS.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in working with multiple clients across multiple jurisdictions is essential.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, ACAMS, or ICSA.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, law, or risk management is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in a client relationship management role within an onshore or offshore accounting, financial or legal services environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and meticulous detail-oriented skills, coupled with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry and market sector dynamics, encompassing corporate services, corporate governance, compliance & regulatory frameworks, and/or fiduciary services.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet strict deadlines and demonstrate a high level of autonomy in your work.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-oriented approach, demonstrating the capacity to work efficiently both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Unwavering high level of trustworthiness and discretion, with a proven ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact confidently and build rapport with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English are paramount.
  • Advanced digital proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft PowerPoint is essential.
  • Experience with ViewPoint software is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours on occasion to accommodate client needs.
