Overview of role

The Communications and Digital Marketing Manager leads initiatives to enhance Walkers’ profile across the Americas region (Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands) through both digital and traditional channels, while also managing internal communications for the region.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Plan and deliver communications and digital marketing campaigns for Bermuda, BVI and Cayman offices, including reporting and analysis.
  • Manage website and social media content for the Americas region, including LinkedIn presence for key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, industry associations and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee communications for industry events, sponsorships and awards, including legal directories and rankings.
  • Manage the Cayman broadcast suite for podcasts and video production, including messaging and art direction.
  • Coordinate speakers for internal and external events, providing script review and presentation coaching.
  • Lead and develop junior team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in communications and digital marketing within legal, financial or professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns, including planning, execution and performance analysis.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to clarity and accuracy.
  • Experience managing media relations and handling sensitive issues with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in social media strategy and analytics, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Project management skills, including coordination of events and external agencies.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop team members.

 

Additional requirements: Ability to work outside core hours when needed and willingness to travel.
