Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
To provide general administration and executive assistance including, without limitation:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate and in accordance with the instructions of any member of the WPS SMT
- Responding to internal and external phone, teams or email enquiries, and ensuring that every interaction is attended to in a professional and polite manner
- Meeting attendance and preparing first drafts of meeting minutes
- Providing administrative assistance with board meetings, regulatory inspections, audits or events of a similar nature
- Creating, editing, amending and storing of correspondence and documents in the appropriate electronic file, including the preparation of "blacklined" documents
- Booking meetings and general diary management including co-ordinating complex international travel arrangements
- Assist with co-ordinating internal/external marketing and business development activities on behalf of the CEO and some of the SMT members
- Managing the submission of travel and related expenses on behalf of the CEO and certain SMT members
- Supporting other members of the team and working collaboratively with them to complete work to a high standard and meet required deadlines
- Undertaking personal training and development activities as required including attendance at internal training sessions
- Participating in ad hoc projects as and when required
- Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the purpose of the job, including the performance of duties occasionally outside normal working hours

Education, Skills & Experience
- A minimum of five years' experience performing a similar EA role for one or more high level executives within a busy financial or professional services firm
- A graduate ideally in business studies or a related degree who possesses relevant and current professional qualifications
- Demonstrable skills and mastery in the use of office technology and related applications
- A relationship builder who can work independently and as a team member
- Possesses tact and diplomacy when dealing with highly confidential matters
- Can easily manage a complex and demanding workload in a fast paced work environment and can prioritise tasks and projects to meet high standards and stretch personal performance targets
- Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels of understanding and seniority; can produce high quality correspondence
- Participates in continuously improving services through critically evaluating systems of work, promoting new ideas and actively developing service improvements
- Works in a flexible manner and responds well to changing circumstances and priorities
Compensation Data
Walkers offers a dynamic working environment with opportunities for career progression and an excellent remuneration package, including a discretionary performance based bonus, 5 weeks' vacation, pension and fully covered health insurance. Remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience.
