Overview of role

The Financial Systems & Reporting Executive supports the team with a range of duties to ensure accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting, while helping to maintain and enhance key finance systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing global function. The role is suited to someone with strong attention to detail, a curiosity about data and systems, and an interest in developing technical, analytical and stakeholder management skills within a global finance environment.

Financial Systems & Reporting Executive

 

Global Financial Reporting Team/ Finance Support

 

Salary Band US$80,000 – US$100,000

 

  • Assist with preparation, maintenance and validating regular management reports, dashboards, KPIs and reporting packs for Finance, leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and period-end reporting through data preparation, reconciliations and report maintenance.
  • Analyse and identify trends, variances and performance drivers, escalating anomalies or data-quality issues where required.
  • Provide first and second line support for finance systems, including Aderant Expert, BigHand/Iridium BI, Power BI, SQL/SSRS and related reporting tools.
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, documentation and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Finance Support, IT, Transformation and vendors.
  • Respond to reporting and systems queries, and communicate effectively with Finance teams across global offices, and support end-user guidance where appropriate.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computing, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years’ experience in financial reporting, finance systems, data analytics or a similar role, ideally within a professional services or global environment.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g. data manipulation, pivot tables, lookups), with an interest in developing skills in Power BI, SQL/T-SQL and SSRS.
  • Exposure to finance systems such as Aderant Expert, BigHand/Iridium BI or similar platforms is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, including experience working with large datasets, reconciliations and identifying underlying drivers of financial data.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Proactive, thoughtful and able to always maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders at different levels, teams and global offices.
