Overview of role

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and business development professional to play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across all service lines and geographies of the Walkers Professional Services business. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, CMO, and senior stakeholders to design and execute strategic business development plans, identify new client opportunities, and deliver integrated marketing initiatives that support the firm’s objectives.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Develop and implement regional /global marketing campaigns through digital and traditional channels to engage existing and attract new clients, including communicating new service offerings.
  • Draft communications to existing clients and stakeholders which inform and drive appropriate action around regulatory requirements.
  • Develop attractive marketing campaigns around events and conferences that will help to optimise client engagement.
  • Build and execute an omni-channel strategy to support sales efforts including website, social media, LinkedIn and e-marketing.
  • Develop and manage analytics for large-scale marketing campaigns and online activities, and provide actionable insights to the CEO of WPS and key stakeholders globally to strengthen marketing and business development activities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline ensuring that new leads are qualified and managed through to conversion.
  • Lead the development of client centric initiatives including pitch documents, RFP responses and pricing proposals.
  • Deliver and manage internal BD initiatives, including the development of marketing plans and budgets, project roadmaps, KPI reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to contribute to the brand strategy for WPS and ensure compliance.
  • Drive and monitor global best practice Marketing and Business Development processes.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and trends in buying behaviours and develop appropriate responses for varying business lines.
  • Management of junior team members, including hiring, providing guidance and development opportunities.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or related discipline from a recognised international university (required).
  • 5-7+ years of experience in marketing, business development or account management, ideally in corporate or fiduciary services within a large multi-jurisdictional organisation.
  • Minimum 2 years in a managerial capacity, with direct responsibility for people and/or project leadership.
  • Experience building data-driven customer acquisition campaigns for varying business lines across multiple jurisdictions, including proficiency in A/B testing (desired).
  • Experience in managing leads through a sales lifecycle, including interventions at critical moments to nurture wins
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., InterAction); working knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
