Overview of role
As a Revenue Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring our firm's financial health by managing debt recovery, resolving account queries, and liaising with legal teams. Join our collaborative and supportive team and contribute to the success of one of the world's leading law firms.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
- Liaising closely with legal teams to coordinate recovery of receivables
- Contacting clients for payment
- Reconciling reports with e-billing platforms and working with e-billing team to identify discrepancies
- Resolving queries, internally and externally, around overdue invoices
- Provide general financial and administrative support including ongoing reconciliations and adhoc projects
- Partake in new initiatives in order to streamline global processes
- Responding timely to incoming requests from lawyers and secretaries from all legal practice groups
Education, Skills & Experience
- A High School diploma and/or Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Experience within the financial or legal industry would be an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to interact with legal professionals is crucial, as well as a proactive mind set, adaptability and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Demonstrate a calm, confident demeanour and be able to handle potentially difficult conversations
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced exposure and knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of ‘Aderant Expert’ is a plus
