Overview of role

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Responsible for management of the AML Services client on-boarding and termination process;
  • Assist the AML officers with the implementation and oversight of AML, Counter Terrorist Financing and Anti-Proliferation Financing (together "AML/CFT/APF") policies and procedures which will ensure compliance with the Cayman Islands AML regime;
  • Assist with the data gathering process necessary in the preparation of AML Compliance Officer reports;
  • Oversee the maintenance of the AML Services records, dashboards and other data repositories as required
  • Support the AML Officers with conducting risk based periodic testing of fund administrator due diligence procedures;
  • Monitoring and remediating responses for the various AML Services inboxes as assigned
  • Assist with independent AML audits as required from time to time;
  • Assist with the AML Services client due diligence program;
  • Keep abreast of AML/CTF/APF industry developments;
  • Support the billing process as required
  • Promote WPS internal and external best in class client service delivery;
  • Training and mentoring junior staff; and
  • Management of AML Services internal projects.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years experience working in the financial services industry with AML experience would be an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Cayman Islands AML regime with particular focus on the investment fund industry;
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in people management would be an asset.
  • Organised and detail oriented;
  • Initiative and independent decision making
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints;
  • Ability to both work independently and as a collegiate member of a team;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Strong leadership capabilities; and
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Compensation Data
