This position plays an important role supporting WPS growth across key markets by executing marketing initiatives, enhancing client engagement, and contributing to ambitious business development goals. The purpose of this position is to help drive and generate revenue growth across the Americas region while supporting the strategic business objectives of management and the service lines.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business strategies of the service lines and contribute to the execution of targeted business development (BD) plans.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Business Development Manager to:
    • Develop and execute annual BD plans.
    • Design and deliver on agreed marketing campaigns as relevant to the Americas region.
    • Execute on key events and support
    • Track progress against Key Performance Indicators, ROI objectives as may be relevant and budget metrics.
    • Develop high quality branded marketing collateral.
  • Help with the development and execution of client-centric initiatives including:
    • Supporting lead generation marketing campaigns.
    • Pre/post-trip planning and ROI reporting for marketing trips, conferences, and client events.
  • Support the delivery of internal BD initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., events, campaigns, marketing technology, communications) to deliver integrated marketing and BD initiatives that meet client and WPS objectives.
  • Maintain close relationships with relevant external organisations within the industry both in the Americas and the jurisdiction, such as industry related associations, vendors and agencies, as well as conference organisers.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • A degree or advanced diploma in Marketing, Business or Communications.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a business development, marketing or a consulting role, ideally in professional services or finance sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Supporting business development plans
    • Working within budget on BD/marketing campaigns
    • Collaborating across functional departments.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., InterAction, Salesforce, Hubspot) — including list segmentation, pipeline tracking, and activity reporting.
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for collaboration and document management.
  • Digital marketing execution (Search Engine Optimisation & analytics, social media strategy, email marketing).
  • Some familiarity with AI-enhanced productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar) would be beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret data dashboards and reports.
  • Analytical Thinking: Able to extract insights from data and research to guide BD strategy.
  • Project Management: Experience with complex, deadline-driven projects with multiple contributors.
  • Communication: Strong writing skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences (clients, internal stakeholders).
  • Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
