Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Senior Vice President

 

Fiduciary - Fund Directorships

 

Salary range US$180,000 – US$250,000

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Vice President to lead the management of a complex fiduciary portfolio, delivering exceptional governance, client service, and regulatory compliance across Cayman Islands fund structures. Acting in a senior fiduciary capacity, you will attend and/or chair board meetings, oversee intricate transaction and incorporation matters, and ensure the effective administration of large, high-value client structures while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

 

This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership and commercial focus. You will play an integral role in driving business growth, supporting client development initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to strengthen client relationships and expand the platform. In parallel, you will provide oversight of financial and operational matters, including budgeting, billing, and risk management, while mentoring and developing junior team members. This is a high-impact position suited to a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers high-quality, client-focused outcomes.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 12+ years’ experience in financial services, including at least 5+ years acting as a Director for Cayman Islands registered funds. 
  • Deep technical expertise in corporate governance, Cayman regulatory frameworks, and fund structures
  • Proven experience managing large, complex fiduciary portfolios and delivering under tight deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience supporting business development, budgeting, and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior client relationships and contribute to strategic client development
  • Experience reviewing complex transaction, incorporation, and financial documentation, including audited financial statements
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of mentoring, developing, and managing junior staff
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills across multiple jurisdictions
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and risk identification abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background; relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with Viewpoint, Oracle, or similar systems advantageous
