Overview of role
The Vice President is responsible for achieving the defined objectives of the Americas CRM Programme, as set out by the Director and the Senior Management Team (SMT). This includes client engagement, relationship management, and client retention. At the core of this strategically important role is improving the holistic client experience and acting as a true ambassador for WPS, both internally and externally. The Vice President will work closely with, and serve as a key intermediary between, WPS and the law firm in relation to the Americas CRM Programme.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
- Lead and manage a growing team of Americas portfolio CRMs, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and support across all areas of service delivery.
- Ensure effective execution of both short- and long-term strategic goals for the Americas CRM Programme, as set out by the Director (or delegate) and SMT. This includes oversight of KPIs such as accounts receivable, compliance, and strategic service expansion opportunities across CRM portfolios.
- Prepare internal and external communications relating to the Americas CRM Programme.
- Act as the internal representative for the Americas CRM Programme, serving as a key resource for stakeholders including SMT, service line leads, and law firm colleagues.
- Drive continuous knowledge expansion, coaching, training, and development for the Americas portfolio CRMs.
- Support the Director in implementing strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and lead ad hoc projects to enhance the success, improvement, and evolution of the Americas CRM Programme.
- Provide regular reports to the Director and SMT on key metrics, including financial data, for the Americas portfolio CRMs.
- Maintain oversight of a strategically assigned CRM portfolio, ensuring effective relationship management, service delivery, and service expansion.
- Continuously strive to enhance and facilitate seamless execution of the Americas CRM Programme and its strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Americas CRM Programme, aligning team goals with broader organisational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across Walkers, including SMT, WPS Board of Directors, the law firm, relevant WPS clients, and service line leads.
- Undertake other ad hoc projects as required by the Director (or delegate) or WPS SMT.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of eight years’ relevant experience with an onshore or offshore accounting, financial, or legal services firm.
- Background in corporate administration, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance across a range of corporate and fund structures.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, onboarding workflows, and end-to-end entity life cycles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in jurisdictions where WPS operates is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and assess the impact of decisions on the performance of a regulated professional services business.
- Proven experience managing a team of high-performing professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently and build rapport with senior stakeholders and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and decision-making abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid track record of delivering ambitious business development initiatives and achieving growth.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
