Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Vice President

 

Fiduciary - Fund Directorships

 

Salary range US$140,000 – US$185,000

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Vice President to manage a diverse fiduciary portfolio, delivering high-quality governance, client service, and regulatory compliance across Cayman Islands fund structures. Acting in a fiduciary capacity, you will review complex transaction documentation, will attend and/or chair board and investor meetings, and ensure the timely and effective administration of client entities while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

 

This role combines technical fiduciary expertise with a commercial and collaborative approach. You will support business development initiatives, contribute to departmental projects, and play an active role in mentoring junior team members. Operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you will be expected to balance competing priorities while consistently delivering accurate, risk-aware, and client-centric outcomes.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial services, including at least 3 years acting as a director for Cayman Islands registered funds.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate governance and Cayman regulatory frameworks
  • Solid understanding of fund structures, investment strategies, and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios, onboarding entities, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience reviewing audited financial statements and complex legal/transaction documents
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Sound judgment with strong analytical and risk identification capabilities
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments
  • Experience supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team or departmental projects
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background; relevant professional qualification required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with Viewpoint, Oracle, or similar systems advantageous
