The Team

The Project Management Office operates globally, led by the firm's Head of PMO in the Cayman Islands office. The team supports projects around the globe across the firm's law firm business and professional services business (registered office, corporate and fiduciary services).

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract required; available in either our London or Dublin office (hybrid working applies) 

Overview of role

We are expanding our project management team and are looking for dynamic and experienced business analysts to join our growing team.  

The Business Analyst is responsible for leading the business analysis activities on one or more projects. A strong analytic mind-set, a high drive to learn and the ability to thrive in a fast pace and always evolving environment are key to success in this role that comes with great opportunity for professional and personal growth. As Business Analyst, you will be part of developing the PMO and you will support and interact with a wide range of stakeholders including those at a senior level, across the firm.

 

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Business process mapping
  • Identify, define and document business requirements and objectives
  • Support project managers by providing business analysis input to projects
  • Work with business counterparts to define the future pipeline of business change projects
  • Business case development
  • Co-ordinate UAT planning & execution
  • Liaise between business and technology teams
  • Plan and facilitate change management activities
  • Define & develop training materials
  • Secure stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Support the development of business analysis skills within the PMO, developing best practices and tools

Education, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • University degree within a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years business analysis related work experience
  • Strong user of relevant tools such as Excel, Power Point and Visio
  • Highly experienced with process analysis, optimisation and automation
  • Highly experienced in building business requirements, user stories
  • Experienced in building business cases

Desirable:

  • Legal or professional services experience
  • Familiarity with MS Teams & Azure Dev Ops
  • Thorough knowledge of agile/iterative delivery

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong change management skills and the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
