Overview of role
We are looking to recruit on a fixed term basis until the end of June 2025
The Change Management Consultant will work within the WPS Finance Transformation programme, supporting the WPS Finance programme Change Lead to execute the Change Management plan. The WPS Finance Transformation programme involves the implementation of a new Finance ERP solution, enabled by the implementation of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) that will deliver simplified, standardised, global processes supported by a strong system platform allowing for increased automation and productivity.
This role will support the Programme Manager and Change Lead ensuring key activities, deliverables and milestones within the Change Management Plan are completed in a timely manner. The role will help ensure all training, engagement and communication materials are completed to ensure users are notified, trained and engaged in programme changes. This role will be responsible for creating essential content to ensure a successful change strategy is delivered within a highly strategic programme and therefore should attract a candidate who is passionate about Transformation.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
- Work with the Programme Manager and Change Mgmt Lead to plan, manage and deliver change management activities including programme communications, engagement, learning and development, change readiness and adoption
- Manage the programme communications and engagement plan and calendar
- Consult with other project team members to draft communication outputs (emails, newsletter, in-office communications, posters, notifications etc) in line with the Transformation implementation plan
- Organize and create content for the Finance SharePoint site
- Support the development and maintenance of change management deliverables such as the Change Impact Assessment
- Support the development and delivery of the training plan
- Support the development of the business adoption plan and associated metrics
- Maintain organisation charts and stakeholder maps
- Provide regular updates to the programme team to aid project planning and status reporting
- Work collaboratively with other programme work streams
- Perform other ad-hoc duties in support of programme change management work stream
Education, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with a proven record of change management work is required
- Experience of change management, including
- Planning – not necessarily leading planning, but knows what's involved in bringing together a change management plan
- Change communications experience
- Including drafting content, and delivery of communication/engagement activities
- Knowledge of training planning for change projects
- Experience of working with change networks
- Knowledge or experience of change adoption, embedding (post projects going live)
Ideal (but not critical)
- Experience of Oracle, SAP, Salesforce or a large ERP platform
- Experience of working in professional services/partnerships
