Overview of role

Office: London (hybrid; 50% hybrid required)

The Workflow Analyst/Developer will support the Compliance Systems and Data Manager within the Compliance Department.  The primary focus of the role is to assist with the development and support of workflows, applications and their integrations with other business systems.

The role will also provide additional support to the Compliance team in troubleshooting and resolving of operational issues encountered in the production systems.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

 

  • Operate as part of the Compliance team to develop, revise and support workflows and applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical workflow and application solutions
  • Ensure design and development standards are current and being followed
  • Develop scalable solutions to meet business needs
  • Maintain and enhance existing solutions, ensuring they run reliably and efficiently
  • Integrate workflows with other systems, including SharePoint and other solutions with API services.
  • Support testing, deployment, and documentation of developed and procured solutions
  • Work closely with Transformation, IT, compliance, and other operational teams to align solutions with business needs and support technology roadmaps.

Education, Skills & Experience

 

  • Proven experience in developing and managing workflows supported by user interfaces for capture and validation of data.
  • Good understanding of workflow automation, process mapping, and business process improvement
  • Strong understanding of API methods and their use in service integration
  • Familiarity with compliance, client onboarding, or risk-related workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences

 

  • Proven experience of:
    • using low or no-code workflow and forms development tools, using Intapp or similar automation tools such as Power Automate.
    • working in SQL environments with the use of SQL Management Studio
    • working with XML and JSON Objects

 

  • Additional experience of the following would be an advantage:
    • Development and support of Intapp Intake and Conflicts solutions
    • Building integrated solutions using REST APIs
    • Working knowledge of Javascript
    • Working knowledge of Boomi automation
    • An understanding of Know Your Client data relating to corporate trees, related parties such as directors, shareholders etc.
    • Experience of working in a law firm with a demonstrable understanding of data related to clients and related transactions.

 

 

Special Requirements

Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside normal working hours/days when requested.

Travel to regional offices as required.
