Overview of role
Walkers is a leading international law and professional services firm providing legal, corporate and fiduciary services to global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants and investment fund managers. With a global presence spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, we advise on the jurisdictions of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Ireland and Jersey.
We are seeking a senior leadership professional as a Head of Revenue Control to oversee our global revenue operations across multiple jurisdictions. This experienced and strategic role owns revenue integrity, and the optimisation of billing, e‑billing, WIP and AR, working capital, and credit control.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will lead a high‑performing international team and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver best‑in‑class revenue controls, data‑driven insight, and continuous improvement that supports the firm’s commercial objectives and client service excellence.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
Revenue Strategy, Governance & Receivables Management
• Design and oversee the global revenue control framework.
• Improve billing and e-billing operations to optimise revenue and reduce working capital cycles.
• Set KPIs, track performance, and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Drive improvements in collections, write-offs, and recovery rates.
• Lead global accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and effective debt recovery.
• Monitor credit risk and provide regular reporting on collections and aged debt.
Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
• Streamline and standardise receivables processes across jurisdictions.
• Embed analytics to identify risks/opportunities and implement best practices.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in billing and e-billing.
Systems, Data & Technology
• Champion digital transformation to reduce manual processing.
• Oversee optimisation of billing/e-billing platforms and ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with IT/Transformation to deliver system upgrades.
Leadership & Team Development
• Build, lead, and develop a global revenue control team.
• Provide coaching and training, with focus on e-billing expertise.
• Foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
Client Relationships & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as senior point of contact for billing and collection queries.
• Support Partners and clients teams on contentious billing and collections while safeguarding client relationships.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business Development, IT, and Transformation teams.
• Present reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) or relevant financial management degree.
- Progressive experience in revenue control, billing, e‑billing, and credit management within a law firm or professional services environment, including experience in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record managing and developing high performing global teams.
- Experience leading cross-jurisdictional projects, process transformation, and continuous improvement, particularly regarding e-billing solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective revenue optimisation strategies, with the ability to build KPI frameworks and dashboards that drive decision‑making.
- Advanced proficiency with billing, e-billing, accounting, and data analysis systems (e.g., Aderant, eBillingHub, accounting systems, and data analytics/BI tools).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence effectively across global teams, senior leadership and other relevant parties
- Demonstrates the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
Location and Travel

The role is based at one of the firm’s global offices; flexible working arrangements may be available.
