Overview of role
The Senior Global Communications Executive will play a key role in supporting the Global Communications Manager in delivering the firm’s communications strategy, both externally and internally. The role will be focused on executing campaigns, managing thought leadership creation, supporting PR and internal communications, and ensuring alignment across regional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, ideally from the legal or professional services sector, with excellent writing skills and a proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
- Write, edit and proofread written communications for maximum impact in external and internal comms
- Support the creation and dissemination of external and internal content
- Act as a key liaison for intranet updates and support in implementing the internal communications strategy
- Support the firm’s global PR efforts, including reaching out to media contacts and media external agencies as required
- Supporting the Global Communications Manager, and wider Marketing, BD & Communications team, in executing the communications aspects of integrated regional and global campaigns
- Maintain and update legal directory profiles, Wikipedia pages and other external profiles
- Maintain a standard of excellence for written external and internal communications
- Monitor and report on the performance of communications initiatives as required
- Act as a bridge between regional teams, ensuring consistent messaging and collaboration
Education, Skills & Experience
- University degree level
- Legal/law firm experience
- Relevant experience in external communications, PR or internal communications
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with software such as analytics tools (Google Analytics), website (Sitecore) and MS Office suite
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to work across all regions and teams
- A curious mind that is eager to take on new challenges and pick up new skills
- A willingness to work outside of normal hours as required
