Overview of role

To work as part of a team leading the delivery of legal technical training to a high standard and in line with our mission and vision statements.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  1. working with the Knowledge Management Lawyers, collaborating with business partners globally to identify, develop and implement learning modules that support business needs;
  2. working with the Knowledge Management Lawyers, facilitating the global delivery of legal technical courses and programmes using delivery channels such as virtual/online training, webinars, classroom-based sessions or the use of vendors when necessary.
  3. supervising the coordination of all training logistics (including communicating with all programme participants, consultants and other various contacts (including external agencies and vendors), scheduling meetings and meeting locations, and coordinating room configuration, audio/visual equipment, supplies and catering);
  4. supervising the maintenance of the Walkers learning management system for legal technical training, including:
    1. making available the latest training resources;
    2. maintaining records of learner development; and
    3. recording evaluations;
  5. collaborating with the Learning & Development Department as required; and
  6. assisting with related ad-hoc special projects.

  9. Have the ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education, Skills & Experience

 

Windows – Microsoft Word – Microsoft Excel – Outlook.

Knowledge of SharePoint and LMS software an advantage.

Knowledge of SCORM wrapping is an advantage.

 

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related subject, or formal training qualification preferred.

Relevant work experience managing technical training programmes, with law firm experience an advantage.
