Overview of role
Based in Singapore, the Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for both client administrative support (as related to non-legal work), and relationship building/maintenance with clients and external intermediaries or such other ad hoc responsibilities as Senior Management shall from time to time determine.
A principle focal point of this role must be to put the client at the centre of everything Walkers does as a firm.
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
Client Contact and Support:
- Act alongside relationship partner as a primary contact for clients of WPS and the Law Firm, providing standard answers and pro forma responses regarding administrative matters such as assist client with annual filings, returns, and access to the client portal.
Client-Centric Experience:
- Develop a deep understanding of clients need to effectively communicate the value of Walkers' services.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure that CRM portfolio adheres to government and statutory requirements.
- Ensure that Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Sue Diligence (CDD) processes are completed and approved. And provide assistance on periodic review compliance requests.
Client Relationship Building:
- Strengthen client relationship by understanding their portfolio and identifying opportunities for market expansion.
- Engage with clients to explore cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for WPS and Law Firm services.
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle administrative tasks and manage escalations related to client portfolio management.
- Maintain clear internal communication regrading WPS service lines.
Marketing Engagement:
- Distribute WPS marketing materials to portfolio clients and external intermediaries.
- Attend client meetings, calls and marketing events to promote service.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work very closely with internal departments to provide a high quality experience and smooth delivery of services.
- Engage with Walkers marketing teams for seasonal client engagements and activities.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interact with client and internal teams.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient in managing multiple administrative tasks and ensuring compliance.
- Understanding of marketing strategies to promote services to clients.
- Ability to evaluate client portfolios and identify growth opportunities.
- The individual must hold an undergraduate degree.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a professional services business development or relationship management role.
- Individual must be highly organised and detail oriented, with strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Reliability essential.
- General knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and operate on their own initiative.
- Analytical approach; comfortable with processes; and able to work at a fast-pace either independently or with the broader team.
- Highly trustworthy with the ability to operate in strictest confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (Chinese language skills desirable but not essential).
- Windows/Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience of ViewPoint is an advantage but not essential.
